Quotations
Any prices quoted are valid for 30 days. Orders or changes to orders sent by e-mail should be followed by a telephone call to ensure Memory Lane Memorials Limited has received the right information. Please check all layouts and inscriptions you require are correct, as once approved, Memory Lane Memorials Limited will accept no responsibility for errors.
Payment Schedule
The client will make a 50 percent payment of the price quoted for the supply and fitting of the memorial, plus the total cost of disbursements (church and cemetery fees). The quotation will not be converted into an order until this payment has been received and funds have cleared by Memory Lane Memorials Limited accompanied with a signed proof showing your consent for us to commence with the order. The remaining 50 percent is payable to Memory Lanes Memorials Limited upon completion of the project, within 14 days of invoice. Memory Lane Memorials Limited will retain the ownership of the memorial until the final outstanding account has been settled in full.
Final Proofing
Memory Lane Memorials Limited will accept no responsibility for errors once final approval has been received. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure delivery of materials (pictures or text); any delay of materials could delay the final delivery of the memorial. Acceptance of this quotation, written or in electronic form confirms your acceptance of these terms and which you will be bound by.
Delayed Payment
If, after the project has commenced, subsequent invoices are not paid within 30 days, a 5 percent “delayed payment” fee will be charged. This initial 5 percent figure will be added upon each recurring 30 day period until the full amount has been received by Memory Lane Memorials Limited.
Cancellation
If after project commencement client communication (face-to-face, telephone, or email) stops for a period of 180 days, the project can be cancelled, in writing by Memory Lane Memorials, and ownership of all materials shall be retained by us. A cancellation fee for work completed shall be paid by the client, with the fee based on the stage of project completion. The fee will not exceed 100 percent of the total project cost.
Miscellaneous
Memory Lane Memorials Limited shall have the right to photograph all completed designs or installations and shall have the right to use such photographs for publication, exhibition, or other promotional purposes.
Confidentiality
The client shall inform Memory Lane Memorials in writing before the project commences if any portion of any material or information provided by the client or if any portion of the project is confidential.
